Should you pay them for chores?

It is false to think that money alone is going to be either a motivator or the mechanism by which a child is going to feel good about themselves.

Tracy was instrumental in helping us deal with a family crisis. She stayed calm, attentive, encouraging and 100% committed to us and our mental states throughout the process. She checked in often (even off-hours) to make sure we were ok. She knew the right things to say and if she didn’t know, she was respectfully and blatantly honest with us. She gave us coping mechanisms and homework that didn’t feel like a burden or “cheesy”. She was kind, positive and trustworthy. I have recommended her to friends and some family members and I know that they all feel the same. Everyone should have a Tracy in their lives! She quite possibly saved a life, saved a marriage and our family, and we are forever grateful that we found her.

Tracy has been a very positive influence in my life for many years now. She has gone to extreme lengths to help me heal from very painful issues involving parental alienation and other long term issues. I have been involved with group and individual counseling for over 25 years and the time with Tracy has led to very positive emotional healing. I have been talking with Tracy for a couple of years. She helped me move forward when I was struggling with my decision not to have a family. I was extremely depressed and she helped me to talk it out and make sense of all the feelings and what felt like crazy thoughts in my head. After a break I am currently working with Tracy on my career goals and a happier path forward. My current job has become difficult with constant anxiety and stress. I took the Enneagram test which was very very interesting. I have just taken the Strong Interest Inventory test to help point me towards a possible new job or career. I truly appreciate her help and guidance.

I have been meeting with Tracy for over a year now. She has given me so much guidance through a really difficult time in my life. I was reluctant to try therapy, as I had never attempted it in my adult life - and I am so grateful that I found Tracy. It's been just under a year so far, but I look forward to meeting with her every week to lighten my load, so to speak. The office is so warm and inviting, and the video chat is incredibly convenient (my preferred method). For anyone else who isn't sure about therapy, all I can say is... it certainly can't hurt! And if you can get in with Tracy, I can assure you, it will actually HELP!

First of all Tracy was available when our family needed her. Her mission was to help us to solve issues, not continue her services. That’s important because she and her website have the tools needed for success when those family problems become too much to handle alone. Tracy also is a great listener and understands the complex problems without leaving us hopeless. I appreciate her and tell others about her.

Tracy is simply a wonderful human being. I started with her looking for couples therapy, in which she was able to give unbiased viewpoints and truly help us to better our communication. I continued on with her individually and no matter what I throw at her, she listens, without judgement and offers helpful suggestions when appropriate. She is down-to-earth, easy to talk to, honest and kind. It’s clear that she loves her chosen profession and that passion flows into her sessions. If you are on the fence or unsure about if counseling is the right choice for yourself or your family, Tracy’s no-pressure approach is definitely a good place to start. You’ll thank yourself (or perhaps Tracy), later.

Tracy Lamperti was my granddaughter’s therapist but I was heavily involved in the process. I had custody of my granddaughter and was responsible to see that my granddaughter S. was present for her therapy sessions. I was extremely happy with the care that S. received with Tracy and I attribute S.’s improvements to being under Tracy’s care. Her improvements were consistent and she has grown into a wonderful 13 year old young woman. I’m so grateful to Tracy Lamperti for caring about S. as I did. I feel Tracy went above and beyond to help my granddaughter and I’m so thankful to her for that.

Every Session for the many years she has been my therapist have been very valuable to my recovery. I think her sincere caring for myself and my family have returned my confidence and trust in myself. It’s enabled me to live a more confident life and to develop healing strategy’s that I never knew were available to me.
